How to Add a Featured Posts Widget on Blogger

I find this widget very useful and Traffic generating for Bloggers. There are many posts which bloggers think are not getting the traffic they deserve, So Adding a featured posts widget will help those posts get attention and It can increase traffic.

When people search for a particular topic, they mostly don't know about that topic and they most likely are searching information. It's always good if they find extra related posts on your blog.

Suppose you blog about blogging tips and a visitor just found your website from google when he was searching for related keywords. If he liked your article, He'll sure Try to look for more information or more related stuff, And if he finds some related post or Interesting post in your featured post widget, He'll sure check it out (most probably), So you get the Point?














So Today I'll show you How to Add Featured post widget on Blogger Blog. Actually you can add it anywhere since its and HTML script. 

How to Add Featured Post Widget

Follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: From your Blogger Dashboard, Go to Design > Page Elements

Step 2: Now Click on Add a Gadget > Select HTML/Javascript widget

Step 3: Now Paste the following code inside the Widget (HTML/Javascript)

    <td><center><a href="POST URL 4" rel="nofollow"><img border="0" alt="POST TITLE" width="125" src="POST IMAGE URL" height="125"/></a></center></td>
    </tr></tbody></table></div>

Step 4: Now replace the following terms with yours.

Replace POST URL with URL of the post you want to feature
Replace POST TITLE with Title of your post
Replace POST IMAGE URL with URL of image in your post

Step 5: Now Save Widget.
