A few days ago I received an email from IndiBlogger, inviting me to come and explore the newly opened UniverCell Sync Showroom in Mumbai. Looking this as an opportunity to meet my Blogger friends, I decided to pay them a visit and was hoping to see my friends there. The event was scheduled for Saturday, August 23 from 12 PM to 3 PM (IST) at Cause Way, Colaba in Mumbai. I called my friends and set a plan to meet at the Churchgate station. I took Mumbai local train to reach Churchgate and then we walked towards the famous Regal Cinema in south Mumbai.

On reaching the showroom we saw a crowd of young bloggers gathered inside the showroom. At first look, the UniverCell Sync looked like a normal Mobile Shop but then the manager of the showroom assigned an employee to help us see the store. The guy, fully dressed in UnverCell Sync uniform, helped us and showed us different areas of the showroom. On asking “what is the difference in UniverCell Sync which make it unique?” he answered:
What makes UniverCell Sync Different?
UniverCell Sync is designed keeping modern users in mind, the showroom layout was like a normal showroom but the catch is, that to prevent customers getting confused, UniverCell Sync made different section for different feature phones.

The Camera Phone Section
There was a section for phones which were best in camera options, phones like HTC One M8, Nokia Lumia, LG Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy S5, Apple iPhone 5S etc. along with the phones, this section also contained accessories which can enhance the camera function and phone photography, like Power bank (if you are running out of battery then you can use it to charge) then there were flash cards, pen drives, microSD cards for memory use.
The Music Phone Section
There was a section of store which was fully dedicated to music devices, accessories and phones which were the best in terms of music quality. The section was occupied by Portable Speakers, Headphones, Wireless earphones and devices like Apple iPod’s and music phones.

Tablet Section
There was a section for Tablet lovers and this section contained Tablets like Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab etc. and cases with other Tablet accessories.

Work & Play Section
This section was also known as the productivity section which contained devices and accessories which can be used for both office work and entertainment. This section contained phablets which are basically smartphones with huge display which fulfills the need of phone and tablet in one device.Budget Smartphones
A section was fully dedicated to budget smartphones, for people who can’t afford the big guns. This section had smartphones from big names but with small price. This section contained phones like budget Samsung devices and devices from the Indian manufacturers like Micromax etc.
New Arrival Section
Then finally there was a section for newly arrivals, this section contained devices which were newly released. Currently this place was occupied by the Lenovo S850 smartphone and then there was a phone from Sony Xperia series and LG G2.

Support and Cash Counter
Further inside the showroom was a technical support section and a cash counter for paying bills. I noticed a product called ‘UniverCell Sync Complete Maintenance kit” it was actually a maintenance contract from UniverCell Sync which you can buy for Rs.799 / per year. This contract helps you in problems like, ‘when you accidently dropped your phone in liquid’ or ‘when you crashed your screen’ or ‘any other software problems’ you can simply bring your phone to UniverCell Sync and they will fix it. You don’t even have to come to UniverCell Sync, they have a pickup and drop service, they will pick up the damages phone from your house and then drop it when it is repaired. Isn’t it great?

What I did there?
The place was a paradise for Tech freaks like me, every flagship phone was lying in there, shouting at us to come and put hands on. I tried a couple of phones like HTC One M8, LG Nexus 5, Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S5, The New Apple iPad and more. I really liked the store, it had many options and there was no confusion as people who are more into music can straight away head to music section and choose a device or smartphone accordingly. A camera freak can head to camera section and buy himself a camera phone or accessories. In all the showroom was simply great and unique. I really had a great time there with my Blogger friends.

On the way out UniverCell Sync gave us a complimentary gift which was a meal bag from Café Coffee Day which contained a Spinach ‘N’ Corn cheese sandwich, a chocolate brownie (I just love brownie!) and bottles of juice and water. After that we headed out, walking to the Churchgate station, we bid farewell and then parted our ways to our trains and headed home. This was a lovely afternoon.
