This year in August, Taiwanese computer & mobile manufacturer, Asus, unveiled their much awaited Zenfone 3 series smartphones in India. The series consists of Asus Zenfone 3 (5.2" Inch), Asus Zenfone 3 (5.5" Inch), Asus Zenfone 3 Laser, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra, and now the recently launched member of this series, Asus Zenfone 3 Max. At that time, only Asus Zenfone 3 (both 5.2" & 5.5" variants) & Asus Zenfone 3 Laser were available for purchase in India. Finally, on November 30, 2016, Asus announced the availability of Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe & Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra in India. Both these smartphones are luxurious & boast a metal unibody design with power-packed hardware underneath, let us take a look the phones.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe
Boasting a metal unibody design of a strong yet light aerospace grade aluminum, Asus claims it to be the World's first all-metal smartphone with invisible antenna design. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe packs 5.7" Inch Full HD Super AMOLED Display of 1080p resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes with two processor options; Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 & Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, Asus also claims it to be World's first smartphone to house Snapdragon 820 SoC. Coupled with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, Adreno 530 GPU and storage options of 64GB to 256GB UFS 2.0 & hybrid SIM slot which can house a microSD card of up to 250GB.
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is a Dual SIM phone, comes with a Rear 23 Megapixel Asus PixelMaster 3.0 camera with f/2.0 aperture, Laser / Phase Detection Autofocus, 4 axis OIS sensor, (Dual tone) Dual LED flash and recording capability up to 4K (2160p @ 30fps). The front shooter is an 8 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 and Full HD 1080p recording support. Runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 topped with ZenUI, the smartphone measures 7.5 mm in thickness & weighs 170 grams. It supports Quick Charge 3.0 & comes with 3000 mAh battery. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe supports USB Type-C, comes with an Advanced fingerprint sensor which barely takes 0.2 seconds to unlock & works with moist fingers too.

Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra packs 6.8" Inch Full HD IPS Display with 1080p resolution (4K TV-grade image processor with Tru2Life+ technology) with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor (Quad-Core 1.8 GHz Cortex A72 & Quad-Core 1.46 GHz Cortex A53) with 4GB Dual Channel RAM, Adreno 510 GPU and internal storage of 64 GB. Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra comes with New Dual 5-magnet stereo speakers with NXP SmartAMP, Hi-Res & 7.1 channel virtualized audio with DTS Headphone:X

The front shooter is an 8 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 and 4K recording support. Runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 topped with ZenUI, the smartphone measures 6.8 mm in thickness & weighs 230 grams.
