For placing Ads above or below the Post Header or Title, I suggest you to use 300x250 or 336x280 rectangle.
Once you get the Adsense code, Parse it using the Parsing tool. Click Here for Parsing Tool.
Enter the HTML code in the first window and the parsed code will be generated in the second window.
Step 4: Paste the Parsed Adsense code below the above code. Step 5: Now click on Save Template.

How to Put Adsense Ad unit Above or below Post Title.
Assuming that you already have the desired Adsense Ad unit code. Follow the below steps.
Step 1: From your Blogger Dashboard, Go to Design > Edit HTML.
Step 2: Now tick Expand Widget Template option.
Step 3: Find the below code

Step 4: Now If you want to place Ad above the Post Title then paste the Parsed Adsense code above this code.
If you want to place Ad below the Post title then paste the Parsed Adsense code below this code.
Step 5: Save your Template.
How to Put Adsense Ad unit at the End of Post.
Step 1: From your Blogger Dashboard, Go to Design > Edit HTML.
Step 2: Now tick Expand Widget Template option.
Step 3: Find the below code

Step 4: Paste the Parsed Adsense code below the above code. Step 5: Now click on Save Template.
How to Align the Ads.
To align the Ad units use the following script and Paste the Parsed Ad unit code on the Indicated place.

Replace center with 'right' or 'left' or 'center' as required.
How to make Ads Display only in Posts.
Sometimes if you use modded or custom template Or a Template with Read more button to view posts, You may notice that Ads appearing in the summary. To make Ads only appear in the post or in Read more section, Use the following code for making Ads appear only in posts.

Now Add your code on the indicated place and save template.
