If you've previously upgraded your device to iPad Baseband 06.15, Just for Unlocking purposes then Now you can switch back to iPhone baseband and enjoy iPhone features which were disabled on iPad baseband.

Advantages of Downgrading

There are two major Advantages of Downgrading your iPhone running iPad baseband to iPhone baseband, And they are

1) With Official iPhone Baseband 5.13.04, You'll be able to use GPS on 3Gs which is not possible with iPad baseband (06.15)

2) Ultrasn0w is Compatible with 5.13.04, that means that you can Unlock your device.

To Downgrade, You must make sure that your iPhone is running 06.15 baseband or modem firmware.
Note: If your iPhone 3Gs have 3rd, 4th and 5th digit of serial number is 134 or higher (ie: xxx134...) then DON'T UPGRADE TO IPAD BASEBAND (06.15) or else you'll BRICK your Device.
To Check go to Settings > General > About and scroll down to check serial number.

If 4th and 5th digit of serial number is more than 50 then you have a New bootrom and if it's 44 or less than 44 than you have an Old bootrom. Bootrom's of iPhone's with 4th and 5th digit between 45 to 49 varies. (eg: xx952...., Here it means that the iPhone was manufactured in 2009, 52nd week)
Step 4: Shutdown your device. Press Power button until, Slide to Turn Off appears.

Done!!!

For those who are wondering if you can update your 3G or 3GS to 06.15 solely for the purposes of downgrading to 05.13.04, the answer is “yes” for 3G owners, and “maybe” for 3GS owners.  The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later.  If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS!  It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone!  Be warned!

My iPhone 3Gs was running iPad Baseband and Thanks to Dev Team, I've successfully downgraded to iPhone baseband. Hope this Tutorial was helpful, Please let me know by leaving Comments below. Please do share this post.
