It has been almost a year since I reviewed an earphone, my last one was Evidson Audiowear Z4 review which was published in March 2017. Today, after almost a year, I'm back with another earphone review, this time it's 1More Piston Fit Earphones. As per my research, I found that most people avoid spending a lot on earphones and other accessories, they tend to go for cheaper ones and are constantly on the lookout for best ones in cheaper price. Previously here I reviewed Boat BassHeads 225 Extra-Bass earphones which were priced unbelievably low and delivered amazing performance with lots and lots of Bass, the review received good response from the readers (you can check the review here) so I decided to review some more earphones under the price tag of Rs.1000, I'm beginning with a brand called 1More, this brand has launched some amazing quality products in the past few months and today I will be reviewing 1More Piston Fit Earphones, lets start.
To make everything clear below is the testing procedure I follow for all of the earphone reviews I write on this blog. You can go ahead and read it before going through the actual review of 1More Piston Fit.
Testing Procedure: To ensure that I can test the earphones on their uppermost limit, I used high-quality audio files & Lossless formats. For MP3's, I used 320KBPS files and for Lossless formats, I used FLAC & WAV files. To squeeze out the best performance out of them, I used custom equalizer settings & tweaked them throughout to test their extreme capability. For mobile listening, I used custom music player (Poweramp) to get more control over the output & to boost the performance. On Laptop, I used iTunes music player & VLC player. Throughout, I used high-quality music files and also tested them on different phones.
Unboxing
To my surprise, 1More Piston Fit comes in a tiny square shaped white box which has a picture of the product on the front side. The box contains some information on the back (boring stuff) and on opening the box you find the earphones packed inside a plastic cover, along with some extra ear tips and a user manual. That's it guys, nothing else is there inside the box, although I was hoping for a carrying pouch or something like that, but there was nothing of that sort. Let us quickly take a look at the technical specifications of the product. The following information is as per the info printed on the box of the product, in this case, 1More Piston Fit Earphones.

Design
Coming to the design, the housing of the earphones is made up of aluminum and plastic. The outer body of the housing has a CD lining texture which gives it a premium feel. The earphones are very light in weight, thanks to aluminum, they're easy to carry & attractive to look at. The housing comes with 1More branding on the back, the ear tip canals are angled which makes them easy to fit and comfortable for long usage. The ear tips are marked with 'L' and 'R' markings, indicating the side they're supposed to be worn. The earphones which I had were grey in color, more of space grey kind of shade, but they're available in various other colors. The cable is 1.25 meters in length and is coated with a rubberized material, the cable does not seem very durable, so you gotta be careful when storing the earphones after use, don't shove them in pocket or backpack, make sure you keep them adequately. The 3.5 mm audio jack is also topped with a metal housing, similar to the earbuds. The audio jack is angled and gold plated.
To get a better seal with 1More Piston Fit Earphones, it is very important that you install correct size ear tips, according to your ears. For me, the ones which came pre-installed were perfect and sealed my ears completely. A better seal will help in achieving better noise isolation, resulting in less disturbance of background noise and better bass output. The earphones were comfortable when using for long listening sessions.

1More Piston Fit earphones come with a microphone and a single button remote. The remote can be used for receiving & declining calls and for controlling music playback. The microphone is of good quality, I faced no issues when using the earphones for phone calls, the person on the other end was able to hear my voice clearly, without any issues or disturbance. The button works great and has a clickety feel, you can Play/Pause music by pressing the button once while pressing the button twice will skip to next track and pressing the button three times will skip to the previous track.

Sound Quality
I used 1More Piston Fit earphones with multiple devices throughout the period while I was reviewing them, I used them with Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPod Shuffle, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Apple iPhone 7 Plus and my laptop. I also used music tracks of different formats like mp3, FLAC etc. for more information about my testing procedure, scroll up to the Testing procedure section. Okay, so coming back to the performance, the earphones did a very good job overall, delivering balanced sound with good mids and highs.
The sound signature seemed more focused on mids and highs, the lows were okay but could've been punchier for me to like them. The lows or Bass output was not very impressive but again not a deal breaker, if you're too much into Bass-heavy music then you might not like what 1More Piston Fit is offering. Coming to the soundstage, 1More Piston Fit wins the game here, the soundstage was wide and impressive. Overall the performance was appreciable, the mids and highs were great, the bass was weak but still okay and finally, the soundstage was nice and wide, as it is supposed to be.

Conclusion
This was the first time I was using 1More branded product and I was really impressed with the quality and performance delivered by 1More Piston Fit Earphones, they're amazing for the price they come for, totally worth each and every buck. The earphones sound great with most of the genres. the highs and mids are good, the earphones produce an overall balanced sound, the lows were a bit on the weak side, not the way I like but not bad either.

I won't recommend them to those who're into bass heavy kind of music, but if you like an overall balanced sound with everything good at its place, you'll definitely like them. The best things about 1More Piston Fit Earphones are its build quality, the materials used in construction are really of good quality and seems durable. The design is quite attractive and stylish.
