When it comes to online shopping, SnapDeal.com is one of the best online shopping website. Recently I got a chance to shop at SnapDeal and Today I'm going to share my Snapdeal experience with you guys, Actually I'm going to review their cash on delivery service.
About a week ago, I was looking for a microSD card online for my Galaxy S3. After some googling I came to SnapDeal.com and I found this amazing deal on microSD card at low price and free shipping. Immediately I ordered the product, Instead of paying from my Debit card, this time I chose Cash on Delivery. Below are the Product details.

Order Details

Placing Order
As I said above, I place order on January 7, 2013 and chose Cash on Delivery as payment method. It was easy to place order on SnapDeal and they had a huge variety of products at very reasonable prices and Free shipping. The process of placing order was very easy and anyone can do it without getting confused. There are a lot of payment options available like Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, Cash on delivery etc.
At the time of placing order, I was told that my order will be delivered before or on January 14, 2013 ie. 7 days. It was a long time whereas many other websites deliver their products in 4-5 days. SnapDeal sent me an email with all the shipping details.
Shipping
After 1-2 Days I got an SMS message on my phone saying that my order was shipped by Blue dart and will reach by January 11, 2013. The message also stated that 'Keep the amount ready' because it can be shipped any time.
On Jan 11, I was waiting all day but no parcel was delivered. The Next day on Jan 12 at about 4:30 pm I got a call from Blue Dart. The representative told me that my order has been shipped and it will be delivered on Monday (Jan 14, 2012) between 9 AM - 1 PM.
On Jan 14 (Monday) I was again waiting all day and no parcel was delivered. In Afternoon I called Blue Dart helpline and enquired about my order. I was told that the parcel is on they way and will be delivered by evening. Same day at about 7 PM, I got a call from delivery unit and they said that the parcel will be delivered tomorrow before 11 AM. On 15 Jan, My parcel was delivered at around 12.
Product Review
The product I ordered 'Transcend microSD card 8GB Class 4' was same as shown on the website, The package was nicely sealed and in good condition. The product was good and was worth the price I paid to SanpDeal.
Conclusion
Overall SnapDeal was good but I was very much disappointed by the Shipping. The shipping was late and was delivered after the expected delivery date. Despite of a Big shipping service 'Blue Dart' the delivery took more than 7 days which is too long as compared to other online shopping websites which usually delivers in about 5 days.
Pros: Good Service and Variety of Products, Free Shipping on most orders, Huge Discounts, Low prices, More Payment options.
Cons: Takes 7 Days to Ship (Sometimes), Not much Discounts on Cash on Delivery.
I liked Snapdeal, thought it took them long to ship but the product was worth. I was satisfied by the product and their customer care service. I would recommend use of SnapDeal for online shopping.
