Lenovo A7000 with Dolby Atmos Audio Launched in India for Rs.8,999

Mumbai, April 8, 2015: Lenovo launched their new low-budget smartphone A7000 in India. Not only that, India became the first country to receive Lenovo A7000 smartphone. The smartphone was officially announced by Lenovo at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. With Lenovo A7000, once again Lenovo is exclusively tying-up with the eCommerce site Flipkart, the phones will be available through flash sales (just like Lenovo A6000) and the registration for first flash sale started yesterday, soon after the company's New Delhi press conference. The first flash sale for Lenovo A7000 will be conducted on 15 April, 2015, 2 PM onwards. 

Lenovo A7000 : Technical Specifications

Lenovo A7000 looks like its predecessor A6000 but is bigger than before. The display of Lenovo A7000 is 5.5" Inches and supports HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) - The display colors are vibrant (thanks to Vibe UI) with brilliant detail. The main high point of the phone is that it supports 4G/LTE networks in India, other than that it contains a 64 Bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2 Gigabyte DDR3 RAM and 16 Core ARM Mali760 MP2 GPU. The processor of A7000 is MediaTek MT6752m 64 Bit True8Core Cortex-A53 model. The battery under tha hood of A7000 is a 2900 mAh user replacable battery which is optimized with the software to provide longer backup. The phone weighs merely 140 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.

Out-of-the-box, Lenovo A7000 runs Android v5.0 Lollipop which is topped with the latest version of Vibe user interface. The Interface is somewhat similar to the Lenovo A6000 with some noticeable improvements. The Lenovo A7000 interface is much more smooth and faster than the A6000, maybe because of superior hardware and latest software combination. Lenovo A7000 packs a n 8 Megapixel camera on the back and a 5 Megapixel camera on the front. The back camera is a Sony CMOS sensor with Auto-focus and Dual-LED flash, however the front camera is a BSI sensor with features to enhance selfies.

Dolby Atmos Audio Technology

Lenovo A7000 is worlds first smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos Audio technology for an unparalleled acoustic experience. This is one of the main features of the A7000, with this you can get cinema like audio quality wherever you want, all you need is a decent pair of headphones and you're good to go. Dolby Atmos technology makes your music and video literally flow around you, the movie experience on your smartphone will be much better and unbelievable. According to me, Dolby Atmos will be the reason why music junkies will like to buy this phone.

Availability & Price

The Lenovo A7000 is exclusively available of Flipkart for Rs.8,999 and is currently available through flash sales only. The company has plans to launch A7000 in markets in near future but currently flash sales are the only source to get your hands on A7000. The first Flash sale will take place on April 15 2015, 2 PM onwards at Flipkart.

Conclusion

The Lenovo A7000 sure looks like a winner to me but I can't make my verdict right now, at least until I test the phone personally which I will in near future. One of the reasons why I liked it is because of Dolby Atmos and high end hardware. I will keep you posted on Lwnovo A7000 in future with Full Review and other articles. Till then, stay tuned.
