After the success of Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi is back again with a new low-budget phablet smartphone, Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 4 is the successor of Redmi Note 3 and comes with a bigger battery. Recently Xiaomi was overtaken by other Chinese smartphone makers in sales figures, now let's see if Redmi Note 4 can help them take their throne back. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available in China via Mi.com, starting at RMB 899 (USD $134) for 2GB RAM & 16GB Internal Storage variant, and RMB 1199 (USD $180) for 3GB RAM & 64GB Internal Storage variant. Redmi Note 4 Features & Technical Specifications
The Specs of Redmi Note 3 are similar to its predecessor Redmi Note 3, it packs a Full HD IPS LCD Display of 5.5" Inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 & pixel density of 401 ppi. The smartphone measures 8.4 mm in thickness and weighs 175 grams. The phone supports Dual SIM cards (Micro Sim & Nano Sim) - It has a hybrid slot which can hold either Micro Sim or a MicroSD card. Redmi Note 4's storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using a MicroSD card (uses Sim slot 2). Under the hood, it packs MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 Chipset, Deca-Core 2.1 GHz processor along with 2GB RAM & 3GB RAM options. The 2GB RAM variant comes with 16GB storage, while the 3GB RAM variant comes with 64GB Storage. Redmi Note 4 packs Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 13 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Dual LED (dual-tone) Flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and Full HD 1080p @ 30fps video recording capabilities. The front camera is a 5 Megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture and Full HD video recording support. The rear camera can also shoot 720p videos @ 120 fps. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, microUSB v2.0 with OTG support, GPS with A-GPS support, IR Blaster sensor etc. There is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting earphones.

The rear also contains a Fingerprint sensor which is said to be among the fastest sensors available in this price range. Inside is a 4100 mAh Lithium polymer battery, which is non-removable and supports Fast charging. The phone is available in Silver, Gold & Grey color variants. For now, the device is only available in China but it will soon come to countries like India, where Redmi Note 3 made headlines.
