Xiaomi today in Bejing, China, launched its latest flagship smartphone Mi Note 2 with a curved like display design. On first look, the display of Mi Note 2 looks similar to that of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, but in reality, Mi Note 2 uses a Curved 3D glass on top of a flexible OLED display which gives it the illusion of having a curved display. The smartphone comes with High-End features & specs and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC & 6GB RAM. Xiaomi also launched a 4GB RAM variant of Mi Note 2 along with the 6GB RAM variant. The devices are available in China at the moment for a price tag of RMB 2799 for 4GB RAM variant & RMB 3299 for 6GB RAM variant. Along with the Mi Note 2, Xiaomi also launched their concept like smartphone Mi MIX, which comes with a bezel-less design, we'll talk about that in a separate article, let's take a look at Mi Note 2 for now.

Mi Note 2 Features & Technical Specifications
Mi Note 2 brings top-notch hardware & specifications in a beautiful body, it packs a Full HD flexible OLED Display of 5.7" Inches with dual-curved 3D glass design, which gives it a look like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's Display. The Display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 & pixel density of 386 ppi. Mi Note 2 measures 7.6 mm in thickness, weighs 166 grams and offers 74.2% Screen-to-body ratio. It supports Dual SIM cards (Nano Sim) and comes in two storage options; 64GB variant & 128GB variant. There is no microSD card slot, which means that the storage cannot be expanded. Under the hood, it packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Chipset, which comes with a Quad-Core processor (Dual-Core 2.35 GHz Kryo & Dual-Core 1.6 GHz Kryo) along with 4GB RAM (64GB variant) & 6GB RAM (128GB variant). The processor is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.
Mi Note 2 comes with 22.5 Megapixel rear camera (Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor), f/2.0 aperture, EIS sensor with 3-axis gyroscope, Dual LED (dual-tone) Flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and 4K video recording support (2160p @ 30fps) and Full HD (1080p @ 30 fps). The front camera is an 8 Megapixel shooter (Sony IMX268 Exmor RS sensor) with f/2.0 aperture, Autofocus etc. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS support, Infrared sensor, NFC etc. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, topped with MIUI 8. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Fingerprint sensor is placed below the rear camera, and comes with an 18 karat Gold ring on 128GB variant. Inside these is a 4070 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is non-removable and supports Fast charging (Quick charge 3.0). The phone is available in Glacier Silver & Piano Black color variants and will be available in China for RMB 2799 for 4GB variant & RMB 3299 for 128GB variant.
