How to make Blogger Blog Print Friendly with Print Button under Posts

Many people like printing web articles for later read, so having a print friendly blog will surely attract readers. Many website / blogs nowadays have a print button under posts, this one click button can help you print articles easily. If your blog doesn't have print button then people will find it difficult to set up the page for printing. They'll have to copy the article, paste it into MS Word or similar text editor then print it. A print button will do wonders here. So bloggers who want their blog to stand out, be perfect and user friendly then a print button is must.

Today in this post I will teach you how to add a print button under blog posts. The method I will use is for Blogger platform but WordPress and other users can also follow this guide, only last step is a bit different but I will also explain that. I want to make this guide short and to the point, so lets begin.

Make Blogger Blog Print Friendly with Print Button

Print Friendly Button

The first thing we have to do is choose print button style and other details. So follow the steps given below.

Go to PrintFriendly.com

Choose Site Type from the list given.

Website
Blogger / Blogspot
WordPress.org (Self hosted)
WordPress.com
Drupal

Choose button style from the given options.

Custom Features (optional)

So once you're done with the above steps, you'll get a code which you have to place inside your blog.

Adding code to Blogger

So now you have code, follow the below steps for adding the code inside blogger. Once you complete the below steps, the print button will start to appear at the bottom of blogger posts.

From Blogger Dashboard, Go to Template
Click on Edit HTML
Ctrl+F and search for <data:post.body/>
Paste the Code below <data:post.body/>
Save Template
