Huawei P9 to Launch in India on August 17

Huawei is all set to launch their latest flagship device in India on August 17. The Chinese Smartphone maker has started sending out the invites for the grand launch event for a new product which will be releasing in India. The product to be launched is not mentioned as of yet but according to the sources, the said product will be the much anticipated Huawei P9. 

Huawei P9 Quick Specifications

Huawei announced their latest flagship device P9 in April this year and after getting success in other countries, Huawei P9 is finally heading towards Indian market. The P9 is the world's first phone to feature a Leica branded camera lens (Leica is a famous German lens maker) and apart from that it packs a gorgeous 5.2" Inch IPS-NEO LCD Full HD 1920 x 1080p Display, HiSilicon Kirin 955 Octa-Core (Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Cortex-A72 & Quad-Core x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) processor with 3GB RAM, 32 GB Storage & 4GB RAM, 64 GB Storage options. Huawei P9 supports Dual Nano SIM, there is also microSD card support up to 256 GB but uses SIM slot 2, which means either you can use 2 SIM cards at once or 1 SIM + 1 microSD card. P9 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and houses Mali-T880 MP4 GPU.

The Main highlight of the P9 is it's highly branded camera. The P9 features a Dual 12 Megapixel rear camera setup with f/2.2 aperture, 27 mm, Leica optics with PDAF and Dual tone Dual LED Flash. The pixel size is said to be 1.25 µm. The front camera is an 8 Megapixel shooter with Full HD video recording capabilities. Under the hood lies a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. The expected price of Huawei P9 in India (based on the Chinese price) will be somewhere around Rs.45,000 to Rs.50,000, depending on the variant.
