On September 16, 2016; Sennheiser in New Delhi announced the grand finale of the second edition of Sennheiser Top 50 - a battle of Indian bands, where bands compete with each other to the top. The german audio brand Sennheiser strengthened their commitment to building a platform for bands in India. The finale will take place at Hard Rock Cafe, Worli Mumbai on September 22, 2016 at around 7 PM. The jury members include music industry stalwarts–Papon, Uday Benegal, and Ashish Manchanda. With this platform, Sennheiser (in association with Johnnie Walker The Journey) is giving the bands an opportunity to showcase their talent on a grand level.
For the second edition of Sennheiser Top 50, around 366 bands registered by sharing their original compositions, out of them, five bands selected for the grand finale are; Barefaced Liar, Peepal Tree, Parvaaz, Daira and Symphony novel.
The winning band will take home a Trophy, evolution wireless 500 G3 vocal microphones and HD 280 Pro for the band, 2 Year endorsement deal with Sennheiser which will give them access to Sennheiser gear, opportunity to perform at an acclaimed music festival and be the face of Sennheiser for the next two years across catalogs & brandings.
Update: The Grand finale concluded successfully, Parvaaz Band emerged out as Winner of Sennheiser Top 50. Previous year winners of Sennheiser Top 50, The Local Train were present there and performed a few of their compositions.
