Fujifilm Launched GFX50s Ultra-High Quality Medium Format Mirrorless Camera in India

Mumbai, May 23, 2018; Fujifilm India, a pioneer in imaging technologies, finally launched the most awaited GFX50s ultra-high image quality Medium format mirrorless camera, along with the FUJINON GF series lenses in India. The GFX50s mirrorless camera (body) is priced at a whooping Rs.5,11,999 INR, packs a 51.4 Megapixel sensor and shoots 43.8 X 32.9 mm Medium Format or also known as FUJIFILM G Format. According to Fujifilm, they've put their 80 years of experience in image design technology, into making of this camera, and GFX50s is capable of achieving the highest ever image quality by Fujifilm.

GF 23mm f/4.0 R LM WR   - Rs. 2,04,999 INR
GF 45mm f/2.8 R WR   - Rs. 1,33,999 INR
GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR     - Rs. 1,19,999 INR
GF 110mm f/2.0 R LM WR   - Rs. 2,19,999 INR
GF 120mm f/4.0 R LM OIS WR Macro   - Rs. 2,09,999 INR

The GFX50s delivers uncompromisable performance across still imaging and video shooting. The newly added Color Chrome effect can be used to reproduce the tones and deep colors in situations where it is often said to be difficult. The camera body is made up of magnesium alloy and is resistant to weather & dust.

The camera seems sturdy in hand and weighs around 1230 grams, when paired with a standard lens. The GFX50s mirrorless camera is powered by the X-Processor Pro image processor that is capable of shooting Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps, comes with an ISO range of 100-12800 and can burst shoot at 3 frames per second. It comes with a tillable screen which is 3.2 inches touchscreen panel with 2.36 million dot resolution. The camera also comes with a detachable electronic viewfinder, which comes with 3.69 million dot resolution. The GFX50s packs a high-capacity battery which is capable of taking up to 400 stills per charge.

The GFX50S adopts a larger diameter/short flange back mount with a diameter of 65mm and a flange back of 26.7mm. Due to this construction, the freedom of the optical design of the lens improves, thus delivering high-quality images, while keeping the body light.
